| I have a choice I have the 10/1.5. At 150 meg cap @ $55, thats $2.7/meg. Thats way too damn high. I will either switch or do without internet before being ripped like this.
and I am what AT&T calls a "high value customer" I have 2 iphones, Uverse 300/ Max 10 internet and Uverse voice. Not to mention all the PPVs we get.
I could easily take my business (all of it) elsewhere. And will if this comes to my area. I pay a flat fee for unlimited internet. Not a fee for "upto" some predetermined amount. I might have to start paying "upto" $55 a month.. Bet they wont like that.

| just a thought they want to meter us well i think we need to meter ourselves to. how do we know they will be accurate. if you get a virus or malware on your computer or any number of things you dont have any idea is going on it will count toward your limit. all the content they have loading on there pages is not something i want to count against me cause they get paid froms adds from disney the limit sucks been with them for 10 yrs have 4 kids at home that uses the internet for school, play box live, ps3 online and even the wii is online from time to time so 3 game units and 5 computers what is it good to pay for home networking. i know im not the only one like this that has att anyways hope i made since hard to think when your falling asleep | |

| AT&T better deliver OK, you want to put caps on usage, and want to be like every other utility with metered usage, fine. You better work like one then. If you sell me a 10Mb line it better be 10Mbit. I don't pay my electric utility for the quoted electricity 'sometimes' and I will not pay for metered service that doesn't work as advertised.
If it doesn't work as described 24/7 I would call them 24/7 until it does.

| How Do I Measure My Use I don't like the idea of a service provider of any kind - electricity, water, telephone, subscriptions, etc. not telling you first how to measure the product before restrictions are placed. I have no idea if I would be considered a low or heavy user since there is no "meter" to see what my consumption is before someone tells me I'm using "too much." Phone rates are in time and distance units even if I am not talking. Water has to be turned on and running. Before someone tells me THEIR measurement of my web use, I want to see the "meter" at my end. I don't trust the bastards. SO let's have an information campaign for the consumers so we can translate GB per month into a language of use we would understand. | |

No caps, for now... It will soon be who offers the best cap in your area. Charter is my other option as well and looks like I will be going back also. However, I don't see Charter being the company to stand as the beacon of hope against this type of thing. -- You could get hit by the boom and die. You could fall overboard and die. | Reno Users: Make a Statement by Ditching AT&T Take advantage of the cable company's promotional price. If you guys can make a statement, AT&T will have to consider the consequences of implementing their greed nationwide. Hopefully after your cable promo has ended, AT&T will have backed off on the caps.

| This really bad business move for ATT ATT should at least match Comcast Bandwidth Cap or offer higher Bandwidth Cap plan to stay competitive in the market place. I am now seriously thinking of switching back to Comcast for only Internet access. Their Tier 12/2 with 250gig cap for $52.99 a mouth is better deal then ATT MAX Tier 10/1.5 150gig cap for $55. | |

| 150gb isnt enough 150gb isn't near enough. I used over 300gb last month and I haven't had p2p software on any computer in well over a year I'm using my connection for normal everyday stuff this aint gonna work for me I'm not going to start using my broadband like a cell phone and watching my monthly gigs. hell cell companies are even going unlimited I just saw an ad for the sprint unlimited everything for $99 that's a world a difference compared to my first cell phone plan in 98. So this to me seems like a step backwards. so now if I continue to use the internet like normal I'm going to get over $150 in charges??? soon we'll see internet star stickers on devices that save bandwidth. | |

| Re: 150gb isnt enough yes but unless you're tethering how much data are you going to pull from that phone? Either way the voice is unlimited which is what I was getting at. My first cell phone (sprint) I ran up $300 in in overages my first month because there were hardly any minutes . Now most moderate plans offer the average joe more than enough and there are unlimited plans aswell. You now get more bang for you're buck. Att on the otherhand is taking a step backwards and giving less for more $ | |
