My guess is they will stay pay per use for non AT&T users.

I use it regularly at McDonald as I'm on the road a lot, and my parents travel full time (retired) so they use the WiFi spots a lot as well, it is an awesome feature. Truely with the mobile times.

I remember seeing a Wayport access service over at a resort I stay at. This place has Wayport access points all throughout the hotel area which you have to pay for, and then there's free Wi-Fi blanketing the rest of the resort, which is a massive area. I guess that charge is for convenience charges, as when I saw someone using WayPort access, it was routing them through the same connections at the same speed as the free access points.
If anything, anywhere I go, I look for Free Wi-Fi. Can't find it? I look for an open access point nearby for me to get on. |

95% of my audio is in WMA. I know the IPOD didn't used to support WMA natively which is one of the reasons I didn't get one(I had no desire to have it go through another conversion). Plus I would rather have an MS product anyway.
I might consider an iPhone if it comes to Verizon and it has at least 80GB of storage. Otherwise no sale for me. |

That's going to be an issue for iBahn, Goldentree, StayOnline and other providers. |
