Re: Welp, if that is how they want to play

hahaha , mine has been up since ages ago
full 100Mbps access from 300Mbps card, Bell tried to down it many times till i started nuking them and video taping them

BTW: i told everyone here that this would happen and what the solutions are to improve our internet, yet i was badgered by numerous PPL on here.
My answer to them is > You Suck and now u've got what u wanted. :P

Re: The Big Question - How do we get around this?

That's pretty close BellNoWay, but there must be a buyer or someone to take it over. The only ones are us, the users.

Teksavvy has one option and one option only to stay in biz:
Bill Bell for their [Teksavvy] losses x 100 to x 1000 and for all the troubles and aggravations
wait 30 days
if Bell don't pay send 'em Notice of Intent and Understanding
wait 3 working days, 4 days there and 4 days back = 11 days
if bell still don't remedy then take it to courts since Teksavvy will automatically win

Teksavvy users can put in their own Notices since they lost out on work, bandwidth, hydro, equipment, etc.
Bell users can do same, even if u're a past Bell user.

Or Teksavvy can start lookin' for other biz and or jobs, cause Bell is gonna squeeze everyone, and bad.

One more thing: force CRTC to pay for losses due to their decision as well

Re: Hmm..

that's not bad, u need more parts and equipment though

- tower high enough for "line of sight"
- preferably cantenna with satellite dish combo or other high gain antennas to get range of more than 10 km
- 100 to 300 Mbps card, also for range and quality
- fully working AP server so u can admin them and watch for nukes, not just simple routers
- weather protection

u don't need legal crap as u are not a biz

Re: Raaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaage !!

I for one don't think the cable or phone companies owe me anything such as free uncapped or unfiltered internet. if the people don't like the network they're using from Bell then they should go out and build their own. If you don't want to build your own then you should shut up and stop bitching.

The same goes in the US as far as the "unlimited" bullshit. Nothing is unlimited if you don't like what Comcast is giving you step up to the plate and start building your own network and see how much bandwidth someone can cost you and then you can have a say in capping or uncapping. Until then keep your mouth shut.

Re: Raaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaage !!

Does a phone company tell you how many and how long you can talk on the phone?

Does a Water company tell you you've used to much water?

Does the hydro company tell you your using to much energy?

So why does the internet company tell you you've used to much internet?

Cleveland, OH
Yes a phone company can and does. Unlimited is not unlimited with that either.

yes they send you a bill. You know that already. common sense.

yah its called a meter.

does my internet company tell me how much i've used? nope! because its stated as unlimited. no caps on mine. Then again i use a local company.
