competition has,i think,pumped up the HD channels,technology

From multiroom DVR to over 100 HD channels to faster and faster internet access to remote DVR programming, and much more on the horizon. Ever since I saw VZ FIOS compete in the area, while price hasn't nosedived; what I have seen is more bang for the buck sort of say and an encouragement for cable competitors to do the same.

Competition may not work wonders, cause whether there is competition or not, companies have to make a profit for it to even pay to offer any services; but it is always better to have more than 1 choice.

Why wouldn't the city of philly want to green light an option to enable more competition, this is definately something that can only benefit consumers there.
