state ID question

I am absent minded and lost my state ID last month.

Tomorrow I turn 21. I didn't think anything of it but I have been so stressed everyday I forgot to get a new one.

Is there a way, in NYC, that I can get some sort of proof I am 21 from the DMV or another agency that will pass muster at a bar within 6-8 hours? I know several places that don't card but incase I wind up going elsewhere. I didn't think of it until a friend called and said he'd arranged an outing for me, a bunch of friends, and another one of his friends that turns 30 tomorrow.

I could live to be 92 and remember that I was too stupid to arrange ability to legally purchase alcohol on my 21st birthday.

[Need Info] Need Great Upscale Club for After Wedding Party

A few people I know are getting married in about 3 weeks, and they decided to just do a small intimate ceremony rather than blowing $20-$30k on a reception. They would rather take that potential money and save it and put it towards a down-payment on a house in the future (I get it, times are tough right now. ). They are looking to go out to a really nice upscale club with great music, great dancing, a great mix of music, and more of an upscale crowd. They don't want to go to the usual kinds of clubs like Webster Hall because of the crowd, but that also just seems more like a place you would go to on a regular night, not a place you would go to to party after getting married. The problem is that most of the clubs play 90% Rap & Hip-Hop music, and they are looking for more of a mixture of music that will really keep the party going all night. I don't really go out to the clubs much anymore, so my knowledge to the nightlife is limited at best now, so I'm having trouble helping find a good place.

My cousin had his reception at the Hudson River Cafe, but that was a restaurant setting. The reason he suggested that place is because he said it's more of an upscale crowd/venue, and at night, the place transforms into a club. He said they close down the block, they have a tent with heat, a DJ, and dance floor, you can still go into the restaurant/lounge area, and it feels like you're in a club in Miami/South Beach. I couldn't find any info about this part online. Does anyone know how accurate this is, and what your reviews are of the club side there?

I would appreciate it if you guys could also provide some other suggestions. Your help is appreciated. Thanks.
