Actiontec - GT701 - Port forwarding with a twist

I am trying to achieve the following port forwarding without success.

1. Incoming TCP Port 80 traffic to 192.168.1.100 Port 80
2. Incoming TCP Port 81 traffic to 192.168.1.101 Port 80

Number 1 is easy and is working.

Number 2 which involves changing the port as a part of the forward is NOT working.

Does anyone know how I can achieve this with a GT701-WG?

Thanks.

[Siemens] Config. Modem(s)/Setup: Speedstream 4200; Actiontec GT

Hi Y'all !

OK, here's the deal; I just purchased a Monster system (Gateway LX- 750g. HD, 8g.ram, ATI Rage w/wireless interaction.... regardless, system's Great but Not the issue).... I am connected through www.otelco.net with a Siemens Speedstream 4200 PN:060-D242-A38. I must plug in the ISP provided IP addy's, BUT Just remembered that I had an Actiontec GT701-WG w/wireless capabilities, SO, what I have planned is to (I also purchased a portable wireless receiver $79 @ Best Buy) incorporate my not so old system which only needs a power supply, which prompted me to purchase the new $2K system!! Anyway... I can access my Actiontec just fine with 192.168.0.1 in IE w/phone(dsl)line disconnected and AM able to access setup/config, but just cannot get it setup to access I-Net. My network sees it (Actiontec) just fine IF I set the IP addy's to Auto (Where I MUST Enter the IP addy's with the Speedstream)Hmmm... strange huh? :hmm: Regardless, I've been diligently seeking access IP's Everywhere to enter into this Speedstream ONLY to get the setting necessary for my Actiontec to perform... are y'all following me? :)It's been a heck of an issue, which I Truly am tired of messing with!! ANY & ALL Ideas are Very Welcomed!! Especially Doc Olds... you seem sharp, and I am an engineer, so with Your appreciated info., maybe I'll get this entire operation running as I see it in my currently warped brain :o Got to get away from it now!! I'm going back to:
Trying settings on Actiontec found online with Speedstream, changing modems, IP addy's, etc... AAH :o
Alrighty then, again, ALL info is Much appreciated.
Thanks. :D

Purchased SonicWall TZ190, now do I have to purchase service

Does anyone know if I need to purchase service for my Sonicwall TZ190? I recently purchased it through Dell because my existing server is being beaten half to death with people trying to hack into it (yes, I have quadruple checked and it's not my imagination and there is nothing Bellsouth will do about it).

So I installed the hardware, was able to configure it and can access the internet, but can't access my LAN through RDP, VPN, etc. Do I have to install the global VPN client (which I have to purchase) in order to use basic VPN access to my network?

If so, anybody want to buy a TZ190--brand new?

Any advice or help you can offer would be great.

Jase
