[Home Network] Need Help Installing Wireless Client - No CD

MiamiHN : Sorry for the noob question, did check the BSFA FAQ before I posted this, couldn't find the answer.

I've got a home network running on a 2wire HomePortal. Connection PC is fine, another desktop PC on the network is fine, but a laptop running Win 98 and connecting through a 2wire wireless PC card had to be reformatted. Of course, now I can't find the 2wire Setup CD.

I manually downloaded the driver for the PC card and the Client Manager. I think I set up both properly; I know the PC card is recognized and working fine and I followed all instructions for setting up the Client Manager profile: found the name of the network, entered the correct encryption key, set to renew IP. The little bars show me I've got an excellent/good radio connection...but still can't surf.

I'm not sure what step to take next. Thanks, appreciate any help.
