Can someone refresh my memory......

In the past, when I had DSLi on another line there was a homerun arrangement. The voice and data were filtered at the NID outside my house - and therefore there were separate voice and data jacks in my room. Ive since moved DSLi to the other going tel. line going into the house, but I only have one jack for this line where the gateway needs to be.

So what is the proper way to split the voice and data at the jack in the room. The y-adapter I tried prevented a sync. Connecting the gateway directly into the jack produced a normal sync, but of course now I dont have voice. And yes, I do have the filters deployed properly at all the other extensions in the house.

I havent had to do this in a really long time, anyone remember what I need to do?

Thanks and regards...

You could always plug the old homerun into this new line...

Otherwise, a splitter at the jack should work. Just make sure the filter is on the voice portion.
