Anon | Unstable pings to my gateway. Hello, im living in the Denton Texas area which is north of dallas. I've had dsl for a little over a year now from gte.net and gte as the provider. I am an avid gamer and for some reason my pings to my gateway are always differant. For a couple days ill ping a solid 28 and then on other days like this weekend ill be bouncing from 40 to 150. Is there anything i can do to correc this. I am looking into earthlink dsl provided by Covad however ive been reading bout the interleaving stuff and im taking a risk on if they can shut it off. Any suggestions on how to stablilize my ping or suggestions on a differant dsl solution would be most helpful. Thanks. |
