So the 1.5/128 users get bumped up to 1.5/384 or is that $89 dollar 'business' package? If it is, it's a joke, I get 10 mbit/1mbit for half that from Cablevision.
If Verizon wants the former customers back, they really need to be a little less stingent with the upstream bandwidht. I don't mind 1.5mbit down, but there is no way in hell I'm going back to /128kbps up.

Re: Nike has it right, just do it !! Well, how about this- why don't they silently upgrade everyone who in the 12k-18k to 1.5/384. Why should you have to call in and ask for the upgrade?(Like the MSN for prior customers, they could have just sent out the CD's) Then next month state in that little service bulletin update (in your bill) say "Have you noticed a speed upgrade lately?" in our ongoing efforts to improve dsl value we're upgrading our lines to increase the speeds you receive. We expect to install new equipment that will make your service faster still, please be patient. Stay tuned for more updates. Thank you for choosing verizon. |
