e_identity : well, i figured this out, and it is not a RASPPPOE issue. I am posting just in case someone has the same issue at some time in the future. RASPPOE works just fine w/ multiple email accounts on VOL, but the Mail Account in Outlook Express must be configured properly (mine was not). My mistake.

e_identity

sending mail from multiple VOL email accounts?

e_identity : I use Verizon OnLine DSL w/ RASPPPOE [Win2KSP4, DSL modem to 3ComNIC (no router)]. I searched but could not find the answer to this question.

When I initially installed the software that came w/ my DSL start up kit, I could send email from any of my VOL email addresses (i.e. any of the 9 adddresses that are part of my DSL package) w/o having to log off one account and log onto the next account. I then uninstalled the VOL software, installed RASPPPOE. Now I can only send email from the VOL account to which I am currently logged in (and even then I need to reenter the password b/f the mail will send). Is there a way to regain the ability to send email from different email addresses w/o needing to reenter the password and/or logon/logoff to each account b/f sending?

Thanks,

E_Identity
Silver Spring, MD USA
