Not bad not bad. Some sites are hella-slow though like downloading off microsoft.com. I know it isn't Microsoft's fault because I can get 430kb/s on Sympatico. Also, I think my Dad signed up for some deal where you have to pay $20 per month, for 4 months. What are the bandwidth restrictions on that? |

He's probably paying $19.99 per month for three months which I think is the current promo for the 4000/640 service. No restrictions other than our 100-Giggish soft cap. |

Hmm the first few hops seem rather laggy. Looks like Powergate's network to me. I know on Sympatico my first few hops are always at least half that. Any advice? Or is it your problem? Modem seems to messing up every once in a while too, all the lights start blinking and it appears to reset, which takes about 20 seconds to get connected again.

He's on Nelkydd Lane and the modem is a Com21 Doxport. New subdivision too, I don't know if that means anything. |

| IM me the MAC address if you can. It sounds like it's not staying locked on, in which case there's either a cable problem or the modem is faulty. If it's the modem, I'll get a shiny new Motorola for you. |
