Changing IPs

Just got an email with a new IP and stuff. What's going on Fiasal, does it have anything to do with the new speed offering?

the numbers listed in my e-mail for dns seem to have a mistake.
63.142.194.41 should probably be 63.146.194.41
anybody else notice that????
looks like we are not on ip numbers owned by qwest anymore but we still use qwest dns.

The DNS Stay the same: 63.146.194.41 & 63.146.194.57

(Can you find the other typo ?)

Yes, this is necessary to accomodate the new speed offerings and some improvements on backbone connectivity !

i guess you're talking about the bogus(?) contact phone numbers listed in the e-mail??? both are slightly different from the home page.

second e-mail has some corrections, but still has phone number as 305 663 5581, your home page lists 305 663 5518.

Boy Faisal, you guys are full of fun this month. I got the second email with the corrected DNS but when I tried to reply as requested you guys shut down the mail server.:D

Hope the problem isn't serious and you get it back up quick.

See my new topic.

I looked through my contract and it doesn't say anything about them ammending fees or allowing them to collect fees.

I quickly called a lawyer friend, and he says I can cancel service. Bellsouth has this fee as an agreement for their contract as well. I already ordered the Extreme Package from Bellsouth. Static IP 3Megs Down / 384 up for 56 a month including fees.

Compared to 73 to snappy..

I'm gone.

Lots of fun yesterday The mail server throwing fits, apparently it did not like the last set of software patches, but seems to be stable now, since we rolled back the software.

Hey, you can thank the FCC for this, according to them all DSL services are subject to this charge / fee.

It is interesting to know that because of the way this is imposed and collected, it cannot be called a 'tax', to me personally that is semantics.

$73/month ? You must be on the SOHO Plan, for a Business Location ? Family Plan would only be $63/month.

Do keep in mind that Bell's pricing for Business Locations is also higher.

And also don't forget to add the additinal taxes about 15% to 19% in Florida... (you still don't pay those with Snappydsl.net).

By the way, if you don't care about your Bridge Connection / always on, call us or email Billing@Snappydsl.net, we might be able to pass you some savings.
