I am sure the pirates will download like most any network admin, go directly to the download site and grab the full version.
Windows update is great for newbies, but for those on dial-up it can really suck. I keep my family updated by bringing them a CD full of patches, updates, etc.
I don't really trust the windows update page anyway...can't convince me they don't see the majority of your register/files/etc. -- mdlt
