1 edit | Ya know what's sad... ...Ok, My Vaio came with XP so I'm as legit as can be, but getting the "fix" for an XP that is not legit is fairly simple. For kicks one day, I went searching for an activation key...no reason, just bored. There are several ways to cure the "patch problem". Nothing worse than being lazy. Using a bogus OS is one thing, not having the smarts to at least try and find a way to force it to be patched is just ignorance.
But hey, it keeps me busy. Cleaning out BS from from systems that are polluted with all kinds of crap(which BTW, is preventable). Legal or not, there are ways to prevent this BS, bummer. More money for me!
