He brags about, makes fun of me and others for buying XP and a list full of other things. I'm sure he would be happy to help anyone here how to make it work for free.
For this there is no answer, MS is going to do nothing so I figure if I can get it on one or two machines that's pennance MS has to pay for me to deal with that crap. I'm glad I bought the one copy tho' and I would buy more copies for other computers, once they put the smackdown on.. until then it's a dog eat dog world and everyone, including MS, myself, legalaly licensed users, etc.. deserve what they get. | I'm glad MS is actually letting the SP2 install work for every copy of windows xp.
Means I have to deal with fewer and fewer attempts to breach my firewall.
Also, I find it highly amusing that so many people brag about stealing WinXP. Great job, it's just about the easiest thing to pirate, and it's nothing to brag about. Big deal you pirated it, big deal I bought my copy. Bah I say! |

 | It's just like the people who (used to) pirate DirecTV. They'd laugh at people who paid for the service. Now that DirecTV has shut down every single pirate, the people who pay for their service are the ones laughing. |

NEWS FLASH, PEOPLE!
I cant believe so many of you are bickering like so many school girls over pirating M$ OS or paying for it. I am legit and I DIDN'T pay for it. How you ask. DO SOME RESEARCH!!! I attend the Microsoft Launch events to most of their software launces and etc. Attend the events. Sign up for Microsoft Partners (thru your company, chances are they already belong to the 'old select program' etc) Then attend the events. Jesus, Microsoft has sent me copies (more than 1 2 I might add) of Win '03 and SBS '03 as well as OFC '03 etc. Solution, simple.
