Re: Caused quite a stir I would provide patches to unlicenses users ONLY when those patches are meant to control "propagation" problems. Bugs or other seat only issues, even if security issues shouldn't be patched for those who use the software illegally.
Personally I think MS should just have 2 versions of SP2. Those that update normally, and one that hoses any machine running Devil's Own serial. Sure it doesn't affect those using Keygens but those not willing to shell out $80 for an OEM license may think twice before doing it again.
