Re: IP Addressing testing...from some where... |

 | reply to binesh_28 ... and seriously, similar to cooperate accounting scanndal, $money$ talks, outsourcing is still in early experimental stage, if it works to a certain extent that won't scare away most customers, then outsourcing is here to stay, and more jobs will be shipped else where on Earth where $cheap$ labor and more $profit$ and $bonus$ will be given to: you know who...
Customers? What customers? "We only lost less than 1% of customers with huge savings from outsourcing that translate to enormous annual profit and bonu$ for a minority fews...who cares what customers object?"...so the saying goes..
...Unless it's proven that outsourcing DOES hurt their BIG profit and BONUS checks, oops, now let's take a second look..
...But until then...sorry, customer...go find yourself another ISP that WON'T outsource..
...uh, hard to find these days, isn't it? Good luck to all.. MoHahHaHa... |

For all we know, this is just some disgruntled customer/ex-tech trying to turn people against SBC.
The conspiracy theorys begin! lol
People still should have questioned him first seeing that his profile said his location was India and he said his ISP was SBC... i doubt a English dude would help some guy who said he was in China and had BT DSL.
It's still a valid question. I am seriously doubting if this is infact a person in India, let alone a tech. Maybe a mod could look up the IP of the original poster and check which ISP its from, or post the first 2 sections and X out the rest... -- Sala Kala Kuta Mod! |

The first 3 octets can tell who the block is registered for.
For example: 168.143.113.x is allocated to Verio.
You can start the whois at »www.arin.net/ . If it tells you to go to APNIC then you shall find out there. -- Be patriotic or I'm reporting you to Ashcroft. |

THIS THREAD IS NOW OVER 1 MONTH OLD!
It's been on life support for 3 of those 4 weeks, can we just let the poor pitiful thing die in peace? -- Good judgment comes from experience, and experience comes from bad judgment. Barry LePatner |

You know, when one of us mere mortals starts complaining about a thread, every smart aleck says "if you feel that way there's a Hey Mods button". So what do we do in YOUR case, 2K?

Just funnin'. It's actually nice to see some restraint with thread locking, which for some reason has gotten more pervasive.

Not in India. And probably not here either.
Oh, and don't take this as a jab, but it would really help if you looked over your comments before posting. I had to read your stuff three times to figure out what you wanted to say. -- AIM | irc.removed.us - #dslr | RC5 rocks. |

 | reply to pnh102 Heads up. SBC through Convergys Corp have outsourced it's technical support to India and Philipines. The used to have American, knowledgeable techs, and now (for the mighty dollar) those days are gone. |
