Re: Whose house has moved recently? _______________________________________________________________ I got a line today from a supervisor that they sometimes add length to peoples lines to help others who cant get DSL get it. And that I should be happy I even have DSL. astamand _____________________________________________________________ I went from 13 or 14,0000 ft. or so in 2000, and have now worked my way up to 16,400 ft.; just far enough to be in limbo and stuck at 768/128.
Has anyone considered the legality of screwing up a customer's dsl line? If someone is receiving the full download offered, and Verizon does something to cut the speed back to 768/128, is this a reasonable business practice? Does Verizon have any responsibility to it's customers?
I am having Cox installed Tuesday. If all goes well, I will cancel VOL next week. |
