| hdtv IS nice but... well, while I'll freely admit that the current HDTV offerings from cable and sat are pretty hobbiest, man those channels that are HD are pretty f-in amazing. I'll probably be canceling HD service for the near term, but when the cable company offers a full HD lineup, I'll sign back up. |

Plus, they do not tell that those Plasma screens have memory effect and the brightness will fade away in a couple of years.... Oh, wait, they want to sell another in 2 years.... LCD is the technology to look. Pass over Plasma! |

That's why I would never go with Plasma. Not to mention that they don't last nearly long enough.
LCD HD is the way to go. -- VIA sux 3K club GameCube online |

Most are just EDTV, but that doesn't mean HDTV plasmas don't exist in that price range: »www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage.jsp···=product |

But DLP has the green issue. Id wait until these technologies mature a little more. LCD also has lifespan issues. people dont want to be dropping 1500 to 5000 or more on a T.V. set every few years. -- You can never be too rich, too thin or have too much Bandwidth |

That is easily fixed by a few adjustments. Also, 99% of the market would never notice the slight green tint, if they did they wouldn't sell as fast as they do. |

Well, that is twice average Plasma and about equal as LCD. Good for Panasonic... That is why you should avoid first generation equipment for AV stuff. |
