VPN w/ Cayman 3546

I have a Cayman 3546 and have one Linux machine hooked to it which is acting as a firewall/nat for our internal network. Here is how they are setup from top down:

Cayman (ISP assigned static IP)
|
Linux (external addr 192.168.1.1, internal 192.100.100.3)
|
Internal Network (192.100.100.x)

I have NAT IpMapping telling the router that my static ip address points to 192.168.1.1 (linux machine). Everything works fine with this setup except for VPN. I can telnet, ssh, ftp, www, etc. from home but cannot complete a VPN connection.

I have another VPN at my home which works fine but it does not have a router, just a cable modem. On the client side, my VPN connection (using DUN) conencts and starts trying to verify username and password but does not recieve any info back. I'm thinking that for some reason the router is not letting my VPN traffic back through so it can go back to client.

I'm a newbie at this and have did many searches and tried many things. Is there anyway I can make this router be "invisible" besides the point that it gives me my internet connection, I want it to act just like a modem with no firewall or router functions.

To make the Cayman act just like a modem without the router features would be called Bridge Mode.
You'll also need something to handle the PPPoE session behind the Cayman or you'll never get authenticated with your ISP.

See how to do it here.
