Do you know how most of this class action suits end up? Litigators take home few dollars given that are a few millions of them and the lawyer fees are around many thousand dollars each.

I disagree with you. The ILEC's are very anxious to roll out their DSL... they just don't want to share their lines with competitors since cable companies don't have to share.

Yes, I am defending the rights of a shareholder in a company to hire lawyers to file a class action lawsuit. What other option is there? Bend over and take it? So what if the lawyers make money? You don't work for free and neither should they. People have no idea of the risks, costs and time it takes for these lawsuits. And what people do not understand, they seem to attack. |

Covad, NP and RTHM are responsible for the national rollout. If the ILECs were so ancious to roll out DSL they would have done it before the little guys came along. You were right about one this though. They do not want to share their lines. |
