reply to tadmaz I had a problem when I updaded window xp with the patch discussed in this intel document. I updated both the xp patch and the driver but still had the problem. Rolled back the update and the driver and no more problems.

IBM T40 with built-in wireless: Never had random drop-outs, but coming out of standby after moving about the office, I'd have trouble re-authenticating. Those problems went away after installing SP2 beta. Coincidence? I think not... Lot's of good stuff in SP2.
