Swap ZyXel for Broadxent?

I recently got the 6Mbps dsl package (upgraded from 3mbp) and my modem is loosing sync, even though I'm so close to the CO and the lines are in good shape (I believe). I currently have a ZyXel modem and was wondering how I could get a Broadxent modem? I have heard many reports that the Broadxent has better noise margins than the ZyXel. A better noise margin is all I need to keep sync. My noise margin is about 9 and 10 on the download and upload.

I really wouldn't want to download back to 3mbp.. if at all possible. I'm also not willing to put the line in safe mode, I'd download my dsl package before I did that.

Can I swap modems by any chance?
