after looking at the diagram of their adapter, it definetly is not a Sipura 1000 or 2000. It looks more like the VOnage Motorola VTA1005 with an extra phone jack on the back of it.

They say it functions as a router if you need it, otherwise you just plug it into the back of your router.

My buddy is using it and they sent him an Azatel Gateway (2 port), made in Taiwan by Ambit. I called him on my Quantumvoice (Sipura) and it was clear as a bell (like Ma Bell). I got this unlimited toll free voip service from this company in Michigan - whatta baagin! If you can't get a local voip number check it out (quantumvoice.com). I can't call Europe unlimited like my buddy cab, but I couldn't understand them on the phone anyway.
