Oklahoma City, OK | [MCI] MCI Business-Great experience I have an MCI T1 in my office in OKC. It's never been down in almost 3 years...
A few days ago, I got a call from MCI Tech support. They informed me they noticed my circuit had been down for 30 minutes, and they were wondering if I was experiencing problems. Woah! That is an incredibly proactive approach, and I sure appreciated it. I didn't even notice it was down, because it's fed into a dual wan router with a DSL line as backup...
But I sure would have noticed if a client came in for a videoconference, because I route all my VC traffic to the T1. It's sure nice to know MCI is watching out for the network...
Now, one more thing. The lady at MCI I have been dealing with was SO professional and SO friendly, I almost didn't know what to do. I have her direct line in case there are any other problems.
Just wanted to share the good experience I had with MCI.

T1 SLA's are always very good and it is nice to hear that MCI is proactive. But most DSL users pay less than $50 dollars a month for service compared to the $600 plus you pay. |

The ISP, Cyberonic uses MCI's backbone. My connection was never down. I never had a speed issue, but would like MCI to increase the speed offerings. Hands down best connection I have ever used.
Not everyone has bad experiences with MCI. Even those who only pay 50-60 dollars for DSL. The uu.net backbone is excellent. |
