Before you do that, let's try something here. (Besides, help here is free and, many times, is better than the phone tech support.)

Where are you located? City and state.

Which SBC does your phone service? (There are (at least) 4 of them and I need to know which one.)

And also, the guys coming up are not going to setup your Linksys router. They will put the filters on your phone, which anyone can do, so that would be a complete waste of money, unless you actually have any line issues.

You need to set you 5100B in bridged mode to use it with your router. Type in 192.168.0.1 (info on bottom of modem) to access the modem, then go to advanced, go to PPP location and change the loaction of the PPP to bridged mode. Configure your router PPP with your user name and password and you should be good to go.

If you're not living on the edge, you're taking up to much space.

As was mentioned, ASI does not support your Linksys router and will only get your service running on your PC or their laptop. Also, your can use your Linksys a couple of ways without switching to bridged mode:

If your modem has a clean config (no id/pass entered), just enter the id/pass into the Linksys as usual

or

Set your Linksys up for DHCP and enter your id/pass in the modem - make sure the modem is set to use the public ip and not the 192.168.0.x address and that "smart keep-alive" is selected.
