If you are currently experiencing problems with check for update as detailed above, can you please check the value of the following registry entries:

"HKLM\SOFTWARE\Zone Labs\HttpProxyServer"
and
"HKLM\SOFTWARE\Zone Labs\HttpProxyEnabled"

and report your findings here or email skyking@gmail.com?
