Those price examples you guys gave are totally off. It is $60 to diagnose a computer, but a windows install is $60, not $149. They do hardware swaps like power supplies, memory, video cards, hard drives, etc. Mobos do need to get sent off, but who could carry all the mobos that the various manufacturers use in a store.
