dgilbert : yes, you can still forward ports. goto »netopia.com/en-us/equipment/tech···ter.html and pull the doc for your model and firmware. as long as it is 8.x firmware, the basics of port forwarding is the same. sorry i can't be more specific about the steps, i don't have an ENT version. if you need more help, i will pull the manual and see if i can walk you thru it.
--
If you can read this, thank a teacher..........and since it's in English, thank a soldier.

dgilbert : what version firmware are you running? it sounds as if you have webadmin disabled on the LAN side instead of just on the WAN side.

is it a 3341-ENT, if so, it does not have the GUI. it is strictly telnet since the ENT versions are for enterprise.

you could backup your config files, see »Cayman Routers »How can I backup my Cayman Router Config File? , and then reset the unit to factory default. or you could telnet into it can turn web admin back on for the LAN. the location varies some by firmware, so post your firmware version.
--
If you can read this, thank a teacher..........and since it's in English, thank a soldier.

anon : I have been trying forever to host applications on my server, but my 3341 seems to have closed all my incoming ports, which I imagine is a factory default. I however would like to fix that.

I heard the Netopia 3341 had a really good WebUI but I cant access it. When I insert the Private IP for the gateway I get a resolving error, similar to what would occur if I tried to goto a non existant site, or one that was down

I can however connect to the gateway via Telnet, but I cant find anyway to open my ports in there. I did a port scan on the gateway and it said that my telnet port was open, but the rest were closed.

Anyway, I guess my question is, why cant I access the WebUI?
