It will come.. just a matter of time

Frequency is math.

And as we all know, it just takes an intelligent person to come up with the right math. Right now we have 'creative' people working out the math.

So which fundamental law of physics would you rewrite?

HF radio signals plus power lines will always equal interference - no matter how many different ways you attempt to do the maths.

I'm sure similar was said of heavier then air flying machines.

There is a way out of every box:)
The question is how?

Ehhhh....wrong.

Birds are heavier than air and they flew.

Show me where heavier than air flight violates the laws of physics?

Sure you want an answer to BPL? Here is one. Rewire the entire infrastructure either underground or with heavily shielded cable. Might work but cost a LOT of money.

Well obviously with the existence of planes they don't, of course.:)

However the pioneers of flight had to deal with similer ridicule. Same goes for super sonic travel. Progress breaks down every wall. What is a box but a collection of walls?

And you call BPL progress ? ? ?

And back in the early part of this century, most of the HF spectrum was declared useless by the government. It was gievn to the HAMs so they could experiment with it. Now that HAMs found all the cool things that could be done with it, parts were reclaimed by the government. Still they had their share.

As for BPL, the answers to all the problems cost money that no one wants to spend. Do you want your electric bill to go up? Doubtful.

Every tech reaches a point where you can't get anymore out of it. Propeller planes are the end of their tech. Current jet engines are near the end too. The new tech is ramjet.

Still, none of those engines interfere with other services or airplanes. BPL does interfere. Until it doesn't, it can't be used.

yes, I work in IT and can attribute it almost entirely to HAM radio. I was forced to learn there were 8 bits to a byte at age 13 and never had use for it. well, until I got into packet radio, which I used long before the term "internet" was heard by myself atleast.

A unlicensed station cannot interfere with a licensed station period. That is a principal of FCC enforcement(or has in been the past & should continue to be).

Not disputing that. Just saying because we currently don't know how to do it with out it interfering does not mean it's impossible. We just have not found the weak spot in the box.

actually its in the face of those who know the basic fundamentals of RF and antennas.
