Re: Microsoft Expoits, GMail Exploit who's next Actually, I feel his statement about Linux machines being compromised more often than Windows machines is fairly accurate. It depends on what "section" of the 'net you hang out in -- if you're at all involved with IRC, then yes, Linux machines are quite often compromised. Windows is just under scrutiny for a problem that's been ongoing for years.
In regards to security (out-of-the-box), I stick Linux and Windows in generally the same basket.
