| [BritSys] Down in Chicago... My BritSys / MCI DSL circuit has been down since 02:00 this morning...is anyone else feeling this pain?
I have checked the BritSys website...no outages have been reported...

Chicago, IL | I'm totally shut off. BritSys did update their page, saying there was an outage in Chicago, but with no estimated repair time. My, that's reassuring.
Traces look good from both an Ameritech DSL line and a Cogent fiber line all the way to
12 0.so-7-0-0.HR1.CHI2.ALTER.NET (152.63.73.37)
After that hop, even when things are up, I get two timeouts and then my Cisco and Mac at home. Now I just get more timeouts. |

My Digizip, MCI line is down since 2am as well. I'm in Cary, IL.

My service was restored about 15:00 on 07/11...a 12 hour MCI outage...

I'm with Cyberonic, and I was up until around 1pm. It was down sometime this morning, but came back. Traceroute gets as far as 0.so-6-0-0.HR1.CHI2.ALTER.NET then times out now. |
