 4 edits | ripoff??? I just cancelled my dsl today because of loosing my job and was informed that snappydsl gets to keep the rest of what I prepaid for up to august 1st and I get no refund of my $60 even tho service was cancelled July 12th and I was billed June 28th??? Does this seem right to anybody at all? At least with Bellsouth they gave me a prorated credit on my dsl when I cancelled and switched to snappy. All the lady I was speaking with said was too bad, its on our website and there's nothing you can do about it. Yah...its on their website. Not on the front page I'll tell you that or else no one would have service with snappydsl! What a riroff...I don't use the service and they still cash in. Every other company I have ever done business with has at least given me a prorated refund when I cancel their service of any sort.
I know its probably not going to be more then $20-25 but hey, when your out of work that can help out with other bills. I called back and asked to speak to a billing supervisor and was told "he was in a meeting indefinately..."
I will be contacting the BBB and the FTC and see what they think of snappys policy. |
