| new to centurytel I am new to centurytel after using RoadRunner high speed cable for several years. I know DSL and Cable both have their ups and downs. I would have much rather kept my high speed cable through Road Runner since I was quite satisfied with them but unfortunately cable where I am now is not an option. Since I have been with centurytel I have noticed I pay more for this service and the speed is worse than cable even though I am really close to the station.(on the same street.) I have also discovered even though I am in the same town when I had AT and T local phone service, for some reason Century Tel seems to own the area we are in now and I cannot obtain AT%T for local service and long distance with internet service all in one...what gives?  |
