Alot of this motivation is because of people moving completely to cable. Voip is the final problem for verizon, plus their "who is your phone company, when you call them" just makes you not want to be there customer more. This isnt going to happen for minium of 2 yrs once comcast and other get voip and raise speed. What use will we have for Verizon, i really cant think of any now.
