I'm using BritSys via WorldCom (you might want to specify which carrier you're looking to get service through....) in Manhattan, which isn't too far away. I'm about 5,000 feet to the CO according to broadbandreports.com, and have pretty rock solid sync at the expected 1.5/768 for ADSL service.
How far away are you and what service are you looking at?
