Effective 8/14/2004 and through 11/13/2004, linkLINE will again be offering an up to 6 meg downstream, 608k upstream ADSL package in select areas for $49.95. This includes one static IP only. For businesses, we offer a 5-ip package for $79.95.
There are no long term commitments (30 days minimum and 30 day cancellation notice) If you have a compatible modem, there are no set-up fees. A modem can optionally be purchased for $39.95 (with tax and shipping = $50 total) The price is permanent and will remain in effect as long as you keep the service active at the same location.
Customers of other ISPs may switch with NO DOWNTIME. Please be aware we may not offer service in your area, even though you currently have service with SBC or another ISP. Please call us for details and confirmation where service is available.
Note that this is "Rate Adaptive" and that depending on distance, condition of wires, cable gauge, sunspots, landsharks, and other mysterious factors, the minimum guranteed rate is 1.5m down, 384k up. Most customers will acheive around 3 megs by 512k. If you are lucky enough to be a few blocks from an RT or CO, then you can expect to rock and roll.
