I totally agree. I down loaded SP2 from the Microsoft site yesterday, and it was able to max out my 1.5 megabit DSL connection. Now that it is available from Microsoft, the bootleg sites are unnecessary even if they have a clean copy of the MSDN release. Play it safe and download directly from Microsoft.
