Re: blocking auto update of service pack 2 Hi,
I know on my home pc, I want to put service pack 2 on, for example, one small fix is the VPN fix, which should stop the vpn connection dropping every 30 seconds
However, at work, Sage Support haven't yet come back, if it's "safe" to run SP2 with their software... ie. If I run SP2, will it break our service contract with them (for example)
Plus, you then see things in "the press" like this: »news.bbc.co.uk/1/low/technology/3557952.stm

We can agree on that. I personally wish a choice would be given not to install the security center and firewall. And to be able to fully uninstall IE - if I chose not to have a use for it - as others do.
Maybe this is a sign of things to come for the better.:D Doubt it - but we can hope. -- Test Your Security Benefit for Children's Oncology Group Cable Modem Diagnostics |
