Re: [XP Pro] Right Click on a File = Explorer crash

Hi all. I had the similar problem as superc0w. When i right clicked on any .avi files i would get an error box popping up reporting a problem with a nvidia extension, sometimes explorer would just restart.

I downloaded ShellExView (Thanks Josimio) and disabled the nvidia cpl extension (Dont know what it did anyway!) and now all is fine.

Re: [XP Pro] Right Click on a File = Explorer cras

mine did the same thing I found out that it was mcafee webscan. I went to my task manager and ended the webscan.exe process and it fixed it. I then went into my mcafee properties and disabled download scanning. Problem solved for me

I used ShellExView and it turned out that Adaptec DirectCD Shell Extension was the problem maker in my case.

Thanks guys.
