| if it's too good to be true As the old saying says: "there's a sucker born in every minute", but I think with the globalization of internet this should now be changed to "every second". One would think having access to all the information available on the net would make people smarter, but I think that may not necessarily be the case.
BTW, I have a friend who not long ago invested $5000 into some southeast asian MLM scheme through an old friend of her -- had she call me before the "investment" I could tell her in no time that awaits her (does a 1000% ROI [return on investment] smells like a red flag?!?), but she called me only after she could no longer log in onto her account, hoping that I could help with that. |
