It could be a simple mix up, but I'm reminded of the goold 'ole days back in 2000 when providers went under daily.

Park Ridge, IL | I agree. I got my first DSL line from Mindspring back in '99. I found DSLReports only because I was looking for a new provider in '00 when their service went to sh*t in Chicago (after the merger). |

Remembering the good ole days, I remember switching to the first ISP in my area that provided 56K connections. I had a US Robotics 56K and thought wow, I'm going to fly on the internet.
After a month or so my service went down. After many attempts to call I decided to visit the address since it was local. Turned out to be a high school kind with a T-1 and banks of modems in his dads garage. |
