Re: [Broadvox Direct] Can't call 1-866 and 1-877

sgarrand - 800-884-7097 is reporting caller ID, while 800-444-4444 (and 800-555-1180) are reporting ANI. I dialed the 7097 number from my FWD line via the *1 Michigan gateway and it reported I was calling from my 5-digit FWD number(!), which is what the gateway sends as caller ID; the ANI from the FWD toll-free gateway is now a 212 number, a change from the usual 248 number. (Maybe the toll-free gateway is now Jeff Pulver's and not Telesthetic's? )
Well then I'm at least glad that my called ID continues to show my toll free number. If I ever need to call a "location specific" toll free number I'll use the POTS my family here uses. The toll free number is just my personal line.

You ISP number 1-877-380-2511 gives me a tone that makes me think the number isn't valid.

No it's valid. I can reach it using a POTS line.

Also the two numbers you gave me work fine. Strange that the Videotron one doesn't work. The problem isn't that I can't call my ISP because they have a local number and few regional numbers (of course!). This was only about testing my new Broadvox Direct service.
