Re: WGR614 does not renew DHCP lease and loses WAN con I'm using the WGR614v4 with 5.02 firmware. I bought the router about 2 weeks ago and I have not lost my WAN connection. I am connecting to DSL via PPOE and DHCP. So far so good.
This has been much better than my Linky 4 port router as I did lose the connection to the internet on 3 of 4 pc's every 2 days. On the Linky I had to reboot the computers to restore the internet connection. Very weird!
My Netgear has been rock solid since I installed it. I have 4 pc's connected via Cat5 and one laptop via wireless G.
