Pardon me while I salivate at the prospect of downloading an entire CD-Rom of data in 6 minutes. And yes, I understand it would likely be limited by the speed of the server downloading from; but still!

RCN in Redwood City California has 3mbps internet and i downloaded a cd to my desktop in about 12 minutes. It speeds up faster the longer i am connected!

Do I really need fiber?
