 | Has anyone asked for a partial credit for outage? Has anyone, besides myself, asked for a partial credit, or compensation from Digizip for "The Outage"? I placed a call to billing as Black_Jesus suggested, on Friday. Have not heard back from them, although I know at least some of their personnel work Saturday. I don't really expect to hear from anyone there until Monday. Just wondered if anyone else had asked for and received a credit? | | | Re: Has anyone asked for a partial credit for outa It is a good idea, but it will be pennys judging from the stand point that you get charged ~ $1.61 per day. | | drmorleyPremium,MVM join:2000-12-20 Park Ridge, IL | reply to ross
Re: Has anyone asked for a partial credit for outage? I would have however, my service never when down and I don't even have a single email addy provided by Digizip. Next time there's an outage in Chicago though I'm going to ask for a credit. | | 1 edit | reply to ross
Re: Has anyone asked for a partial credit for outa I was contacted on Monday by Debbi Fishman of Digizip, re credit on my account, requesting additional information. On Tuesday, I left a more detailed message for her. At 2:18 a.m. PST, or so, this morning, I got a phone message from Debbi advising me she had credited my account for the full amount of the DSL fee, and the long distance telephone service charges as well. This was a great deal more generous than I expected. I am both pleased, and grateful.
I spoke with her a few minutes ago. There are definitely improvements coming to Digizip's customer service. They have had issues with the configuration of their support matrix being combined with billing, and AT&T's charge detail interface, and telephone system on the same remote server system. A lot of email destined for Digizip's billing and support has been mis-routed. According to Ms. Fishman, Digizip is taking steps to correct the situation. Digizip's support and billing customer interface is being revamped, with many services to be available from their main web site, including on-line bill payment, and planned maintenance links for MCI and, perhaps, AT&T.
Frankly, any change would be an improvement over the current state of affairs.
I encouraged Ms. Fishman to check out this forum, with particular emphasis on the recent outages. I hope that she, or someone in authority at Digizip, will take the time to post a statement here re the AT&T imbroglio, and their plans for upgrades to their customer service interface. I have also asked her to clarify the position, and role, that Black_Jesus has assumed here on behalf of Digizip, and to correct any discrepancy between his representations and Digizip's official positions/policies.
If you have any questions, or requests for service credit, due to the recent outages of Digizip's mail servers, or the total internet connection cut-off, if you're a Digizip-AT&T customer, I recommend that you contact Ms. Fishman:
