Hey Norm : finally, they are doing something about broadband in the tri city area! just a couple years ago you'd have to have a wet dream to even think about broadband in the area. SBC and earthlink teased the area my parents lived in, saying DSL was availible in their area, when it wasnt. comcast HSI was a pipe dream. fast forward to present day, and both broadband options are there.

if stc, batavia, and geneva can get things in gear, FTTH will give DSL and HSI a run for it's money...and maybe trip it...and perhaps pee on them...then run away laughing...yeah, thats it:D:D:D

anon : I doubt verison will throttle thier fios down to 1.5 MB...they've spend billions trying to wire america up with fiber. They are offering 15MB down and 2 MB at 49 bucks a month. They will take the broadband market by force and couse a monopoly if the DSL and cable providers done upgrade to the new standards to come.

~Pv8man
Pv8man@hotmail.com
