If a Start Menu (top left) shortcut becomes old (exe has moved, for example) when I click the icon, it opens "QuickLaunch" folder, and the shortcut changes to the "QuickLaunch" bar folder.

I don't know anything about that particular bug but the final released version of SP2 was 2180 not 2144. Maybe you could try downloading the final version. -- Bush/Cheney '04
