Re: The "Official" SP2 Bug Thread I am having a few problems with apps not being updated as well:
1. Nero Smart Start: will no longer update when I check for new versions.
2. SpySweeper: will no longer update when I click on 'Update Defintions."
3. Spyware Guard: will not update when I click Live Update.
I don't know what other apps are having this problem. I need to check one and every app it seems! VERY annoyed!

As far as Nero Smart Start is concerned, What version are you running? There seems to be an update to a Windows XP sp2 issue for that program on the Nero web site. You can manually install it. The other programs you talk about, I don't use. |

However, I have been using the most recent updated Nero file. That didn't do the trick.
